The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Torben Skålberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gugu Gaúcho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vincent Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gugu Gaúcho having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Barra Funda F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. With 9 minutes on the clock, Luizão Paraense commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 9 minutes into the game, one of Barra Funda F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Befruktas FC. Torben Skålberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gugu Gaúcho. 0-2. Norberto Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Henrik Bergström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gugu Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Bryngelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After some careless play in the Barra Funda F.C defense, Vincent Berg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gugu Gaúcho. The Barra Funda F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gugu Gaúcho should have stopped the shot. Torben Skålberg scored 0-4 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gugu Gaúcho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 27 minutes of play, Befruktas FC's Vincent Berg made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gugu Gaúcho was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Billy Bryngelsson put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Gugu Gaúcho. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Torben Skålberg sped through Barra Funda F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gugu Gaúcho. Billy Bryngelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gugu Gaúcho having to interfere. After some careless play in the Barra Funda F.C defense, Vincent Berg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gugu Gaúcho. The Barra Funda F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gugu Gaúcho should have stopped the shot. In the 44th match minute, Barra Funda F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Torben Skålberg notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Barra Funda F.C's Gugu Gaúcho. Gugu Gaúcho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Barra Funda F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Befruktas FC were winning 0-10.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Sangrigoli got free with Gugu Gaúcho in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gugu Gaúcho came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Befruktas FC's Sven-Åke Häll. But to his dismay, Sven-Åke Häll quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 0-13 when Billy Bryngelsson sped through Barra Funda F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gugu Gaúcho. Vincent Berg scored 0-14 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gugu Gaúcho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute Sven-Åke Häll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gugu Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Barra Funda F.C's Gugu Gaúcho got control of the ball when Vincent Berg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Vincent Berg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gugu Gaúcho. Vincent Berg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-15. Gugu Gaúcho was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Billy Bryngelsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Billy Bryngelsson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-16. Gugu Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Åke Häll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Vincent Berg made a precise shot to the right of Gugu Gaúcho. Barra Funda F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-17. Billy Bryngelsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gugu Gaúcho came out and tried to block the shot, but Billy Bryngelsson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-19 in the 89th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Barra Funda F.C's goalkeeper Gugu Gaúcho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Billy Bryngelsson. Befruktas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
