The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphaël Félicité in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 played minutes Carpathian Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Timo Thorstein. Ksawery Galaska lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kujawiak Włocławek fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Kujawiak Włocławek:s Julian Zakrzewski showed great skill when he stopped Philip Rosendal:s penalty. Kujawiak Włocławek's Julian Zakrzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihnea Ionițoiu in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raphaël Félicité got free with Olimpiu Hârlău in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raphaël Félicité received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Olimpiu Hârlău tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Kujawiak Włocławek defense, Timo Thorstein kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julian Zakrzewski. The Kujawiak Włocławek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Zakrzewski should have stopped the shot. Julian Zakrzewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihnea Ionițoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Verstraeten came free, but Olimpiu Hârlău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timo Thorstein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute of the match, Raphaël Félicité got a very nice opportunity to score, but Olimpiu Hârlău was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 37 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Verstraeten came free, but Olimpiu Hârlău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Oscar Verstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Olimpiu Hârlău was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oscar Verstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Carpathian Wolves's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Kujawiak Włocławek. Julian Zakrzewski stood somewhat misplaced when Mihnea Ionițoiu came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 53 minute. Julian Zakrzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Ungheanu in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Kujawiak Włocławek's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Ionițoiu came free, but Julian Zakrzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olimpiu Hârlău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Verstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Carpathian Wolves's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olaf Kolano was slow to take the kick. During this time Kujawiak Włocławek's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Kujawiak Włocławek's Olaf Kolano to fire away a dangerous shot which Olimpiu Hârlău despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julian Zakrzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timo Thorstein in the 66th minute of play. Julian Zakrzewski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Timo Thorstein showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 68 minute of play. A collision led to Carpathian Wolves getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Timo Thorstein hit a great ball. Olimpiu Hârlău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Verstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihnea Ionițoiu in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julian Zakrzewski saved Kujawiak Włocławek from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Avram Panaiteanu made a precise shot to the right of Julian Zakrzewski. Kujawiak Włocławek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Carpathian Wolves's Moise Pandele was substituted for Henry Eklund. The audience was convinced that Raphaël Félicité's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olimpiu Hârlău was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Carpathian Wolves walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
