Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Timo Thorstein kicked off to start the match. Olimpiu Hârlău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute Mihnea Ionițoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihnea Ionițoiu in the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of Carpathian Wolves booed when Uruguaiana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silas Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avram Panaiteanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but André Sena made a huge save. A collision led to Uruguaiana getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Silas Esteves hit a great ball. In the 15th minute of the match, Avram Panaiteanu got a very nice opportunity to score, but André Sena was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mihnea Ionițoiu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. André Sena came out and tried to block the shot, but Mihnea Ionițoiu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 16th minute. André Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo Thorstein in the 19th minute of the match. Timo Thorstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. André Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Sena made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Avram Panaiteanu sent off a good shot on target. Uruguaiana's André Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguaiana from getting a goal against them. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Carpathian Wolves's Mihnea Ionițoiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Sena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. André Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timo Thorstein, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. André Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Thorstein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Fabiano Mattos made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Mihnea Ionițoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Eduardo Melo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When Philip Rosendal came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Carpathian Wolves fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philip Rosendal couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Timo Thorstein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carpathian Wolves's supporters rose to their feet, but Timo Thorstein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Oloieru in the 63rd minute of play forced Uruguaiana's goalkeeper André Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Mihnea Ionițoiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. In the 90th minute, Marquinhos Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
