An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo Toledo in the 9th minute of play forced Şamaxı Bankirlər's goalkeeper Mänsur Rzayev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mänsur Rzayev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Toledo in the 15th minute of play. Mänsur Rzayev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Téo Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Jorge Loyola got control of the ball when Faiq Kazimov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Téo Toledo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Şamaxı Bankirlər's Mänsur Rzayev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Şamaxı Bankirlər's Juan Badr quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Taavetti Vihervä, made in the 21st minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Akhilendra Murthy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Loyola. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Akhilendra Murthy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Sustrai in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mänsur Rzayev saved Şamaxı Bankirlər from getting behind. In the 45th minute of the match Şamaxı Bankirlər got a corner. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Druțu Cristian ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Şamaxı Bankirlər's Druțu Cristian to fire away a dangerous shot which Jorge Loyola despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oscar Mas made a kick off. The supporters of Şamaxı Bankirlər booed when Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gero Mitov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Mas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Mas, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Mänsur Rzayev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Toledo in the 61st minute of play. Téo Toledo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Mänsur Rzayev skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A sloppy throw-in by Lucio Sharkin in the 69th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Şamaxı Bankirlər's Teymur Dünyamaliyev. Jorge Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Mas, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 73rd match minute, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gero Mitov to maneuver through the defense. Şamaxı Bankirlər made a substitution. With a little luck, Şamaxı Bankirlər's Mänsur Rzayev got control of the ball when Hulk Zaracho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Şamaxı Bankirlər's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gero Mitov was slow to take the kick. During this time Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Gero Mitov to fire away a dangerous shot which Mänsur Rzayev despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Oscar Mas scored 2-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Loyola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mänsur Rzayev made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Hulk Zaracho sent off a good shot on target. Akhilendra Murthy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Şamaxı Bankirlər fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
