Mänsur Rzayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Smuskiewicz in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute ATLAS Mysłowice were awarded a corner. Dariusz Smuskiewicz went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Dariusz Smuskiewicz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mänsur Rzayev quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Faiq Kazimov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerônimo Lucas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Şamaxı Bankirlər booed when ATLAS Mysłowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peyo Ilyov didn't get a good kick on the ball. ATLAS Mysłowice's Andrzej Dziewedik was substituted for Dariusz Smuskiewicz. After 16 played minutes ATLAS Mysłowice got a freekick which was hit by Peyo Ilyov. Juan Badr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jerônimo Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute Bogumil Maciejewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mänsur Rzayev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerônimo Lucas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pankracy Liberko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Mänsur Rzayev made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Mas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd match minute, ATLAS Mysłowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanek Brzakala to maneuver through the defense. After 63 played minutes, Şamaxı Bankirlər's Druțu Cristian shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jerônimo Lucas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Şamaxı Bankirlər reached it. A collision led to Şamaxı Bankirlər getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Cezary Pierz hit a great ball. The supporters of Şamaxı Bankirlər booed when ATLAS Mysłowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Wyrzykowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led ATLAS Mysłowice's Örjan Vestlund to fire away a dangerous shot which Mänsur Rzayev despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 85 minutes in the game Tanek Brzakala did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Witold Wyrzykowski. After 87 played minutes Şamaxı Bankirlər got a freekick which was hit by Ruy Faria. Bogumil Maciejewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mänsur Rzayev having to interfere. Cezary Pierz charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cezary Pierz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. ATLAS Mysłowice's William Cearense was substituted for Pankracy Liberko. In the 96th match minute, Şamaxı Bankirlər was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezary Pierz to maneuver through the defense. Şamaxı Bankirlər played a much better game than ATLAS Mysłowice and deserved their victory. The ATLAS Mysłowice players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
