The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Christiaan Elsen kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, AKHisaR's goalkeeper Egemen Toralp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brend Van Laeck. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esterilla Van Meenen in the 8th minute of play forced AKHisaR's goalkeeper Egemen Toralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, AKHisaR's goal looked a bit too open when Christiaan Elsen came free, but Egemen Toralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brend Van Laeck in the 12th minute of play forced AKHisaR's goalkeeper Egemen Toralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egemen Toralp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiaan Elsen in the 21st minute of the match. Egemen Toralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esterilla Van Meenen in the 27th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Christiaan Elsen took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Egemen Toralp to make any attempt to save it. Egemen Toralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esterilla Van Meenen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Galip Beşer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egemen Toralp was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Christiaan Elsen. In the 44th minute, All Stars Gent's Brend Van Laeck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Egemen Toralp. Egemen Toralp yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esterilla Van Meenen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, AKHisaR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baran Alp Kose to maneuver through the defense. Egemen Toralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esterilla Van Meenen in the 51st minute of play. After 53 minutes of play, All Stars Gent's Brend Van Laeck made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Egemen Toralp was left in no man's land by his defense there! Egemen Toralp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brend Van Laeck in the 57th minute of the match. Egemen Toralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esterilla Van Meenen, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 60 minutes, Yakup Hacıoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AKHisaR and the All Stars Gent players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, AKHisaR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yakup Hacıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Egemen Toralp came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by All Stars Gent's Esterilla Van Meenen. But to his dismay, Esterilla Van Meenen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oğuzhan Yönet during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 66 minutes, Esterilla Van Meenen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. All Stars Gent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esterilla Van Meenen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Egemen Toralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esterilla Van Meenen, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The supporters of All Stars Gent booed when AKHisaR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oğuzhan Yönet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute Christiaan Elsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egemen Toralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esterilla Van Meenen's late challenge caught a AKHisaR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esterilla Van Meenen helped the player get up and apologised. Egemen Toralp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brend Van Laeck in the 78th minute of the match. Egemen Toralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brend Van Laeck in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, AKHisaR's Gündüz Tavgaç got a free kick in the 86th minute. After some careless play in the AKHisaR defense, Jesucristo Van Meenen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egemen Toralp. The AKHisaR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egemen Toralp should have stopped the shot.
