Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vassilis Vonortas kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melchor Galindo got free with Florian Kicia in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A throw-in in the 4th minute of the game was made by Baltasar Arias with Reynaldo Peruanton as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Alfonso Festa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vassilis Vonortas in the 5th minute of play. 11 minutes in the game Edelmiro Jago did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Mario Pacho. Alfonso Festa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Peruanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Reynaldo Peruanton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. Calamuchita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, Washington Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. BELGRANO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Calamuchita the free kick. After 17 played minutes C. A. BELGRANO got a freekick which was hit by Washington Santos. Edelmiro Jago hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Vassilis Vonortas notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of C. A. BELGRANO's Alfonso Festa. Alfonso Festa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Florian Kicia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Galindo in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Vassilis Vonortas managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Calamuchita's supporters rose to their feet, but Vassilis Vonortas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Festa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florian Kicia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Galindo in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Vassilis Vonortas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Calamuchita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vassilis Vonortas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. C. A. BELGRANO's Nunez Noe was substituted for Silvio Valerio. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. BELGRANO's zone, Vassilis Vonortas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Festa came out of the goal and Vassilis Vonortas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute of the game Edelmiro Jago made a throw-in which Delmiro Ledesma played forward. 75 minutes into the match, C.A. Calamuchita's Reynaldo Peruanton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonso Festa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Michael Jähnigen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmiro Ledesma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Florian Kicia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Vassilis Vonortas could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Alfonso Festa however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmiro Ledesma in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florian Kicia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of C.A. Calamuchita booed when C. A. BELGRANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Jago didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Calamuchita's zone, Nunez Noe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian Kicia came out of the goal and Nunez Noe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C.A. Calamuchita's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
