Tiburcio Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Veth Crystals's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Michael Jähnigen was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A. Calamuchita's players had a chance to rest. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Tiburcio Jakue, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. C.A. Calamuchita's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michael Jähnigen in the 19th minute. Jonathan Maule hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. C.A. Calamuchita's Florian Kicia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liu Zhi Guang in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Vassilis Vonortas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Calamuchita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vassilis Vonortas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiburcio Jakue made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Vassilis Vonortas sent off a good shot on target. Reynaldo Peruanton was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. C.A. Calamuchita were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Veth Crystals's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michael Jähnigen took the corner. Veth Crystals's Tiburcio Jakue proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Veth Crystals from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute, Truls Kirkemo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Gwidon Patora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Kicia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Jähnigen kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vassilis Vonortas to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, C.A. Calamuchita's goalkeeper Florian Kicia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raul Loramendi. In the 56th minute, Andrea Casals hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to C.A. Calamuchita getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Veth Crystals's Gabriel Vaz was substituted for Cyryl Zielinski. Cevat Erbaş kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Vassilis Vonortas might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiburcio Jakue. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vassilis Vonortas ran back to his position shaking his head. Leizarraga Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. C.A. Calamuchita's Florian Kicia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Calamuchita from getting a goal against them. Tiburcio Jakue came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Calamuchita's Vassilis Vonortas. But to his dismay, Vassilis Vonortas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Wierzbicki in the 78th minute of play forced C.A. Calamuchita's goalkeeper Florian Kicia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Vassilis Vonortas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiburcio Jakue was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Florian Kicia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Liu Zhi Guang in the 83rd minute. Florian Kicia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbigniew Wierzbicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Florian Kicia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liu Zhi Guang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Veth Crystals's goal looked a bit too open when Vassilis Vonortas came free, but Tiburcio Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A. Calamuchita's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
