If Pero Falla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 7 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Bram Jamieson. 11 minutes into the match, SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Urmas Känsäkangas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pero Falla. Pero Falla might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urmas Känsäkangas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pero Falla ran back to his position shaking his head. Urmas Känsäkangas made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Pero Falla sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute, Hannes Jamieson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Gullegem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pero Fallas short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Urmas Känsäkangas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s zone, Mathias-Alexander Jamieson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Videl Mauriz came out of the goal and Mathias-Alexander Jamieson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Urmas Känsäkangas made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Pero Falla sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 38 in the game by Pero Falla from a close distance when the talented Urmas Känsäkangas managed to make a qualified save. SK Gullegem's players were relieved. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pero Falla was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Pero Falla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urmas Känsäkangas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Santos Sanz was substituted for Refugio Colsa. Videl Mauriz came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Gullegem's Mathias-Alexander Jamieson. But to his dismay, Mathias-Alexander Jamieson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Videl Mauriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bram Jamieson in the 71st minute of the match. Pacorro Aguilar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urmas Känsäkangas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ got a corner. SK Gullegem's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jedrzej Kloczko ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s corner Jedrzej Kloczko fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Urmas Känsäkangas quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of SK Gullegem booed when ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jedrzej Kloczko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, SK Gullegem's Hannes Jamieson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 86th minute, Pacorro Aguilar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pacorro Aguilar in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urmas Känsäkangas saved SK Gullegem from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Pacorro Aguilar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urmas Känsäkangas was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Pacorro Aguilar got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SK Gullegem walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
