Percival Munhoz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Percival Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Näver in the 19th minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, Pauliström's Folke Melin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Percival Munhoz was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Andberg in the 29th minute of play forced Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's goalkeeper Percival Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Thor Abrahamsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pauliström's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG the free kick. A collision led to Pauliström getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Thor Abrahamsson hit a great ball. Percival Munhoz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Folke Melin's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 46th minute Albert Andberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Breno Tasso to strike the kick off in the second half. The Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Breno Tasso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tales Pombal couldn't finish the play. Malcolm Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Pombal in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jonas Costa hit a great ball. Henry Näver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Percival Munhoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Folke Melin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Munhoz having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Michel Salles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Malcolm Wall made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 90th minute, Thor Abrahamsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 played minutes Pauliström got a freekick which was hit by Alf Hansson. After having played for 91 minutes, Breno Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breno Tasso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
