Urmas Känsäkangas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xanthos Fikias in the 5th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SK Gullegem's Bruno Renan got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Teukros Diplarakos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Urmas Känsäkangas skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hannes Jamieson got free with Nestor Guillelmus in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute Ladislao Harriet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urmas Känsäkangas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urmas Känsäkangas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Harriet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Ladislao Harriet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urmas Känsäkangas. SK Gullegem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ladislao Harriet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Ladislao Harriet struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Urmas Känsäkangas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Empire of Soccer. Mathias-Alexander Jamieson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Guillelmus having to interfere. SK Gullegem's Urmas Känsäkangas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Harriet in the 42nd minute of play. Urmas Känsäkangas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Harriet's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Ladislao Harriet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urmas Känsäkangas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ladislao Harriet made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Ladislao Harriet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Urmas Känsäkangas. That made the score 0-5 in the 58 minute of play. Empire of Soccer's Nestor Guillelmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Jamieson in the 62nd minute of play. Urmas Känsäkangas made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Ladislao Harriet sent off a good shot on target. Bruno Renan tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Urmas Känsäkangas. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-7 in the 71st minute. 77 minutes into the match, Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Urmas Känsäkangas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ladislao Harriet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urmas Känsäkangas having to make a save. 83 minutes into the match, SK Gullegem's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Harriet came free, but Urmas Känsäkangas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Guillelmus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bram Jamieson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nestor Guillelmus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Jamieson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Urmas Känsäkangas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute of the match Empire of Soccer got a corner. SK Gullegem's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teukros Diplarakos ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Empire of Soccer getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Xanthos Fikias hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Empire of Soccer had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
