When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Görkem Büyükada took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Jacinto de Azevedo to make any attempt to save it. Jacinto de Azevedo was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Görkem Büyükada capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Görkem Büyükada really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. Jacinto de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Görkem Büyükada in the 22nd minute of the match. Emilian Bâlea in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacinto de Azevedo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 28 minutes of play, Nevşehirspor's Görkem Büyükada made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto de Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonard Gregersen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Ahmet Paşa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto de Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Fabiano de Sousa made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Nevşehirspor's Goliath Phoenix. In the 77th match minute, Nevşehirspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raşit Güleç to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto de Azevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nevşehirspor's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
