M.⑪.M.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinand Burghelea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Häll breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of NovaStella FK booed when M.⑪.M. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrián Yeste didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Roman Lluciano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Wynant was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Dirk Boede's late challenge caught a NovaStella FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dirk Boede helped the player get up and apologised.
