The referee showed Ian Rossi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 20 minutes into the game, one of Milanis E.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 21st minute, Ernesto Damião made a precise shot to the right of Jacinto de Azevedo. Milanis E.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ernesto Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, Ernesto Damião cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jacinto de Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Damião in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto de Azevedo saved Milanis E.C. from getting behind. Ernesto Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto de Azevedo having to interfere. The Minotauro fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Minotauro's Ernesto Damião looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 43rd minute, Ronaldão Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Milanis E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Damião came free, but Jacinto de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Minotauro were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Paulinho Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd match minute, Milanis E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Pombal to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Damião succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Jacinto de Azevedo came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Minotauro's Ernesto Damião. But to his dismay, Ernesto Damião quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 64th minute, Perivaldo Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos da Cunha in the 66th minute of play. After 72 minutes, Ronaldão Mazza made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulinho Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto de Azevedo having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Ernesto Damião made a precise shot to the right of Jacinto de Azevedo. Milanis E.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7.
