Spectators: 7564 (Terracing: 5674, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) Newcastle United's Thomas Vollmar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Adam Pacholewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clive Holloway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk got control of the ball when Schorsch Schmalzbauer tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Schorsch Schmalzbauer got free with Mikolaj Jerzyk in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Staffordshire Terrier FC's Schorsch Schmalzbauer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikolaj Jerzyk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 17 minutes Newcastle United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Waldemar Guimarães who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matt Sullivan in the 19th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Matt Sullivan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Staffordshire Terrier FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matt Sullivan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikolaj Jerzyk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Schorsch Schmalzbauer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Mikolaj Jerzyk made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Vollmar in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clive Holloway prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Schorsch Schmalzbauer might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mikolaj Jerzyk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Schorsch Schmalzbauer ran back to his position shaking his head. If Schorsch Schmalzbauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Schorsch Schmalzbauer got free with Mikolaj Jerzyk in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mikolaj Jerzyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Schorsch Schmalzbauer in the 39th minute of play. Mikolaj Jerzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Schorsch Schmalzbauer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Schorsch Schmalzbauer in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikolaj Jerzyk saved Newcastle United from getting behind. Mikolaj Jerzyk came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Staffordshire Terrier FC's Schorsch Schmalzbauer. But to his dismay, Schorsch Schmalzbauer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Schorsch Schmalzbauer was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Schorsch Schmalzbauer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clive Holloway made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pankracy Malicki in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Matt Sullivan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Newcastle United's Benedykt Gdaniec was substituted for Tadeusz Pstrongowski. Pankracy Malicki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Clive Holloway made a huge save. Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Schorsch Schmalzbauer in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Schorsch Schmalzbauer in the 74th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clive Holloway made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Pankracy Malicki sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the game, Schorsch Schmalzbauer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Mikolaj Jerzyk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Newcastle United! The referee gave Staffordshire Terrier FC a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by 史挺亮, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk. 4-0. Agostinho Vaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikolaj Jerzyk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Agostinho Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolaj Jerzyk having to interfere. In the 94th minute Agostinho Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Jerzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clive Holloway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Vollmar in the 96th minute of play. Newcastle United were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Staffordshire Terrier FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zé Paulo Zonta took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Adam Pacholewski managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
