After a rather tough play, Crosmayo FC's Zbyszek Kostrzewski got a free kick in the 4th minute. Crosmayo FC's Alonzo Cordarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panos Ntountas in the 6th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofil Gierlach in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andreas Kousoulakis saved Olympiacos FC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Olympiacos FC defense, Zbyszek Kostrzewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andreas Kousoulakis. The Olympiacos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andreas Kousoulakis should have stopped the shot. Andreas Kousoulakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Inocente in the 17th minute of play. Andreas Kousoulakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pekin Mahçupyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Olympiacos FC's Panos Ntountas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alonzo Cordarin. That made the score 1-1 after 25 minutes of play. 32 minutes into the game, Lazaros Tsakrilis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympiacos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crosmayo FC the free kick. Lazaros Tsakrilis kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Andreas Kousoulakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Gierlach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Domingo Hartz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andreas Kousoulakis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lazaros Tsakrilis kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Andreas Kousoulakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Inocente in the 47th minute of play. The Crosmayo FC fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Crosmayo FC's Arnaldo Inocente looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teofil Gierlach to make the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Dimitris Koudas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crosmayo FC's Alonzo Cordarin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olympiacos FC's Andreas Kousoulakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Bastiaro in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingo Hartz got free with Andreas Kousoulakis in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andreas Kousoulakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pekin Mahçupyan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Crosmayo FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Zbyszek Kostrzewski hit a great ball. Olympiacos FC's Soulis Partalis was substituted for Panos Ntountas. Alonzo Cordarin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Soulis Partalis's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Crosmayo FC's Michail Antonio was substituted for Arnaldo Inocente. In the 75th minute Olympiacos FC were awarded a corner. Sakis Paragioudakis went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soulis Partalis in the 79th minute of play forced Crosmayo FC's goalkeeper Alonzo Cordarin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingo Hartz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Andreas Kousoulakis made a huge save. Andreas Kousoulakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszek Kostrzewski in the 82nd minute of the match. Michail Antonio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Andreas Kousoulakis made a huge save. Dimitris Koudas charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dimitris Koudas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th match minute, Olympiacos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitris Koudas to maneuver through the defense. Christos Romanakoglou might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alonzo Cordarin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christos Romanakoglou ran back to his position shaking his head. Alonzo Cordarin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Soulis Partalis, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Alonzo Cordarin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Koudas in the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Crosmayo FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Olympiacos FC.
