Dinamo Pécs FC's attentive Viktor Majer managed to snatch the ball when Christos Romanakoglou made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. Dinamo Pécs FC's attentive Conrado Romano managed to snatch the ball when Dimitris Xiros made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. Andreas Kousoulakis was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Gafur Salim capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gafur Salim really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gafur Salim in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andreas Kousoulakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th match minute, Olympiacos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Malmström to maneuver through the defense. Zdeněk Vošahlík took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panos Ntountas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gafur Salim was the one to do the kick off. Soulis Partalis hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gafur Salim in the 51st minute of play forced Olympiacos FC's goalkeeper Andreas Kousoulakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Kousoulakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gafur Salim, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Andreas Kousoulakis came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Dinamo Pécs FC's Gafur Salim. But to his dismay, Gafur Salim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 67th minute Gafur Salim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Kousoulakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viktor Majer kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Zdeněk Vošahlík was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sakis Paragioudakis. In the 72nd minute Gafur Salim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Kousoulakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zdeněk Vošahlík showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Koudas in the 75th minute of the match. Andreas Kousoulakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gafur Salim's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Dinamo Pécs FC's Zdeněk Vošahlík proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Dinamo Pécs FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 83 minutes, Panos Ntountas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympiacos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panos Ntountas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lazaros Tsakrilis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Zdeněk Vošahlík made a huge save. In the 86th minute Gafur Salim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Kousoulakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Kousoulakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gafur Salim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zdeněk Vošahlík made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Panos Ntountas sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute Dinamo Pécs FC were awarded a corner. Gáspár Czibor went to the cornerflag to take it. Dinamo Pécs FC's Gáspár Czibor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Andreas Kousoulakis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dinamo Pécs FC had won after a very even match.
