Svante Bäckman was slow to take the kick. During this time LA VIOLA's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Mihăiţă Cârstoiu got a free kick in the 6th minute. Bogdan Bogdanović took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Martinsson. Felix Martinsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cássio Dracena charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cássio Dracena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cássio Dracena hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Club 23's Sören Malmberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Club 23 from getting a goal against them. Bogdan Bogdanović struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Felix Martinsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club 23. In the 30th minute Bogdan Bogdanović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ferdinand Voicu fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club 23's protests and gave Ferdinand Voicu a yellow card for diving instead. Ferdinand Voicu kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Felix Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Bogdanović, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. A collision led to LA VIOLA getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Gottfrid Brenner hit a great ball. Felix Martinsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Felix Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Bogdanović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Jens-Ove Abrahamsson got a free kick in the 55th minute. Bogdan Bogdanović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club 23's Petre Ciolofan was substituted for Emil Cioran. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Ove Abrahamsson in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sören Malmberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 68th play minutes Jens-Ove Abrahamsson shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Sören Malmberg and just under the crossbar into goal. Sören Malmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvald Uter, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Bogdan Bogdanović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Club 23's Bogdan Bogdanović in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 86th match minute, Club 23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Volodya Kirov to maneuver through the defense. Bogdan Bogdanović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Martinsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Club 23's Bogdan Bogdanović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Martinsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Club 23's Cássio Dracena got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Cássio Dracena off the ground. In the 96th minute, Cássio Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Club 23 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club 23 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
