Carl Klings short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Dennis Troiani to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dennis Troiani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Kling, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Fabio Presutti's late challenge caught a Gnaget United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabio Presutti helped the player get up and apologised. Clóvis Cabrals short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Dennis Troiani to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After taking down the ball on Duri come il marmo's corner Mary Cau fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ronnie Hellström quite easily take care of the ball. Carl Kling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Troiani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the Duri come il marmo defense, Carl Kling kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennis Troiani. The Duri come il marmo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennis Troiani should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Rizzo in the 41st minute of play forced Gnaget United FC's goalkeeper Ronnie Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronnie Hellström came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Duri come il marmo's Emilio Rizzo. But to his dismay, Emilio Rizzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carl Kling got free with Dennis Troiani in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clóvis Cabral to make the kick off. Ronnie Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberigo Addari, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. With his leg Ronnie Hellström managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Duri come il marmo's Alberigo Addari fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ronnie Hellström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberigo Addari showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 56 minute of play. The throw-in from Fabio Presutti in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gnaget United FC's Wempy Syukur. Duri come il marmo's Dennis Troiani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Cabral in the 60th minute of play. Ronnie Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corrado Contestabile in the 61st minute of play. Carl Kling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Troiani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, one of Duri come il marmo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gnaget United FC's Bogdan Utretskiy was substituted for Clóvis Cabral. Duri come il marmo made a substitution. Ercole Petrosino replaced Mary Cau. Gnaget United FC made a substitution.
