Ralph Sanger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Abilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Alberto Fortun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albigasta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave B O B I S A the free kick. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Silvio Pfeifer put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eulalio Paskal. Eulalio Paskal made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Gerry Fleischer sent off a good shot on target. J.C. Mijatović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gerry Fleischer might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eulalio Paskal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerry Fleischer ran back to his position shaking his head. 31 minutes into the match, Albigasta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerry Fleischer came free, but Eulalio Paskal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rolf Affentranger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arndt Moschen got free with Eulalio Paskal in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute of the match Braulio Salomon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ralph Sanger skillfully saved the ball. With his leg Eulalio Paskal managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when B O B I S A's Gerry Fleischer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, B O B I S A's Rudolph Bosch got a free kick in the 46th minute. Ralph Sanger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Romano, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

After a defensive mix-up in Albigasta FC's zone, J.C. Mijatović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eulalio Paskal came out of the goal and J.C. Mijatović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. B O B I S A's Gerry Fleischer got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
