Spectators: 7460 (Terracing: 5596, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) Bo Baand made the kick off and thus started the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Aero Björndalen's Eric Holmberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patrik Linqvist. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. A collision led to Ryttartorpets FF getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Stig-Åke Vacker hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Ryttartorpets FF's goalkeeper Patrik Linqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dirk Trucco. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Johannes Aronsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aero Björndalen's supporters rose to their feet, but Johannes Aronsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrik Linqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute Tommy Björkdahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Linqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niklas Brun came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Ryttartorpets FF's Bo Baand. But to his dismay, Bo Baand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Niklas Brun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanley Santos in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Holmberg in the 24th minute of play forced Ryttartorpets FF's goalkeeper Patrik Linqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aero Björndalen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Johannes Aronsson in the 25th minute. The corner ended in Johannes Aronsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ryttartorpets FF's Patrik Linqvist did a great save. 29 minutes into the match, Ryttartorpets FF's Kim Kellbom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niklas Brun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 39 minutes, Bo Baand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ryttartorpets FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Baand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Aero Björndalen booed when Ryttartorpets FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Fagerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrik Linqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Odeen in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ryttartorpets FF made a substitution. Hubert Gruber replaced Bo Baand. Patrik Linqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Roger in the 54th minute of play. Ryttartorpets FF's Patrik Linqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Roger in the 61st minute of play. Stig-Åke Vacker lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ryttartorpets FF! Ryttartorpets FF's Gabriel Martinelli got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niklas Brun made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Gabriel Martinelli sent off a good shot on target. 85 minutes into the match, Ryttartorpets FF's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Roger came free, but Patrik Linqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gabriel Martinelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Kim Kellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
