The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Abandon All Hope's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Torres came free, but Meng Yan Jing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Haithabu FC's Jacinto Torres in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abandon All Hope's goalie prevented a goal. After 8 minutes of play, Abandon All Hope's Jan Pająk made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabian Söderström was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Haithabu FC! Haithabu FC:s Fabian Söderström showed great skill when he stopped Jiang Sang Qing:s penalty. 2-0 came in the 15th minute when Jiang Sang Qing all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Fabian Söderström. Ramzi Drouart might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Meng Yan Jing. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramzi Drouart ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, Abandon All Hope's goal looked a bit too open when Ramzi Drouart came free, but Meng Yan Jing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meng Yan Jing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramzi Drouart in the 24th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Abandon All Hope's Ye Hong slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabian Söderström. That made the score 3-0 after 28 minutes of play. Fabian Söderström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Pająk in the 31st minute. If Emil Dunajski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Jan Pająk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabian Söderström was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramzi Drouart to make the kick off. Ramzi Drouart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 55 minutes, Ramzi Drouart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haithabu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramzi Drouart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute, Fu Wei Di hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Meng Yan Jing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramzi Drouart, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Ramzi Drouart blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Meng Yan Jing having to make a save. Meng Yan Jing made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ramzi Drouart sent off a good shot on target. Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Pająk in the 71st minute of play. Cristo Uchiha kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Haithabu FC made a substitution. Adrian Astigar replaced Simon Blomquist. After 76 played minutes Abandon All Hope got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Uchiha. Haithabu FC's Manuel Sá got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match, Ramzi Drouart got a very nice opportunity to score, but Meng Yan Jing was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Meng Yan Jing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramzi Drouart in the 86th minute. Meng Yan Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramzi Drouart in the 89th minute of the match. Ramzi Drouart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Meng Yan Jing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Fabian Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Pająk in the 93rd minute of the match. Ye Hong blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Söderström having to make a save. Haithabu FC made a substitution. Mauri Icardi replaced Ramzi Drouart. Haithabu FC made a substitution. Bruno Poets replaced Jacinto Torres. When the referee ended the match the Abandon All Hope players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
