In the 13th minute, Jacinto Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palmiro Picasso in the 14th minute of play forced Haithabu FC's goalkeeper Fabian Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramzi Drouart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gentil Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinho Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Söderström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoph Haßelmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The corner ended in Palmiro Picasso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström did a great save. Gentil Miranda was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Ramzi Drouart capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ramzi Drouart really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Haithabu FC's Ramzi Drouart got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd match minute, Haithabu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Martínez Quarta to maneuver through the defense. Ramzi Drouart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Gentil Miranda made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 66th minute, Ramzi Drouart ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gentil Miranda was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After some careless play in the Pau Nas Canelas defense, Ramzi Drouart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gentil Miranda. The Pau Nas Canelas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gentil Miranda should have stopped the shot. Haithabu FC's Bruno Poets was substituted for Jacinto Torres. Haithabu FC's Mauri Icardi was substituted for Ramzi Drouart. Haithabu FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bruno Poets in the 85th minute. A nice corner shot did that Bruno Poets got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gentil Miranda quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pau Nas Canelas's Gentil Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Poets in the 89th minute of play. Lech Biraga kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
