Marian Văduvescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Sotero Quiroga slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. With a little luck, FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu got control of the ball when Sotero Quiroga tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Nicolae Barbu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Steaua Pildesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolae Barbu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikel Bravo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Nae Griguță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18thth minute of the game Sotero Quiroga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Constantin Deșliu scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mikel Bravo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Belmiro Lastras went to the cornerflag to take it. !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Belmiro Lastras was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marian Văduvescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mikel Bravo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Paulescu in the 41st minute of play. !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Mikel Bravo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Stere in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolae Barbu was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Mikel Bravo got control of the ball when Nicolae Barbu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mikel Bravo made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Cristian Fința sent off a good shot on target. 59 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goal looked a bit too open when Sotero Quiroga came free, but Marian Văduvescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Sotero Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Văduvescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Heli Sánchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marian Văduvescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sotero Quiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Deșliu in the 86th minute of play forced !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s goalkeeper Mikel Bravo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Văduvescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfino Abrego in the 88th minute of play. After a rather tough play, !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s Sotero Quiroga got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Zygmunt Dunajski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The !Pabellon Ourense C.F. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Steaua Pildesti were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
