Clemente Artizar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Tobias Mino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marian Văduvescu having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucian Stere in the 20th minute of play forced Albiceleste F.C.'s goalkeeper Clemente Artizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Steaua Pildesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucian Stere was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tobias Mino made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Paulescu during the 57th minute. Clemente Artizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zygmunt Dunajski in the 76th minute of the match. FC Steaua Pildesti's Filip Paulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute Nicolae Barbu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Artizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Steaua Pildesti fully deserved thier win.
