The referee showed Higinio Fix the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute, Higinio Fix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Albiceleste F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gav Smith came free, but Clemente Artizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match Spartak de Txurdi got a corner. Albiceleste F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner ended in Gav Smith almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Albiceleste F.C.'s Clemente Artizar did a great save. 18 minutes into the match, Spartak de Txurdi's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Nofre came free, but Mikolaj Grunwalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match Albiceleste F.C. got a corner. Spartak de Txurdi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Albiceleste F.C.'s Clemente Artizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gav Smith in the 24th minute of play. Clemente Artizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Coelho in the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes in the game Juanito Arribas did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gav Smith. In the 34th minute, Timoteo Nofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gav Smith in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Artizar saved Albiceleste F.C. from getting behind. 41 minutes into the game, Gav Smith cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Clemente Artizar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Liberto Merino to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Gav Smith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartak de Txurdi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gav Smith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd match minute, Albiceleste F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Quirze to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute of the match Gav Smith shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clemente Artizar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 59 played minutes Albiceleste F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Mino. 61 minutes into the match, Gav Smith notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Albiceleste F.C.'s Clemente Artizar. Clemente Artizar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ricardo Birila hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Horacio Hernandez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clemente Artizar. That made the score 0-4 in the 81 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gav Smith in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Artizar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute Gav Smith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Artizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Albiceleste F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Spartak de Txurdi were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
