The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Victoriano Edwardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 11 played minutes Köping got a freekick which was hit by Richard Broberg. When Köping's Adrian Brander in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético Unión Florida's goalie prevented a goal. Alex Lidström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blængur Guðbjarnason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Saul Erauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Eddie Viklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36thth minute of the game Marteinn Palermo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Köping's Orvar Larsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute Marteinn Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orvar Larsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orvar Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krystian Żmuda in the 41st minute of the match. Saul Erauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Brander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marteinn Palermo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orvar Larsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Adrian Brander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Marteinn Palermo had several of the Köping's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 53 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Orvar Larsson as he didn't even see the shot coming. Marteinn Palermo in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Orvar Larsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Atlético Unión Florida's Joaquin Matro was substituted for Victoriano Edwardo. Atlético Unión Florida's Narciso Rufo was substituted for Marteinn Palermo. Atlético Unión Florida's Honorio Santos was substituted for Cristo Bilintx. Krystian Żmuda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Orvar Larsson managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Atlético Unión Florida's Krystian Żmuda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Rufo in the 71st minute of play forced Köping's goalkeeper Orvar Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krystian Żmuda hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The supporters of Atlético Unión Florida booed when Köping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Broberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orvar Larsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krystian Żmuda in the 81st minute. With a little luck, Köping's Orvar Larsson got control of the ball when Narciso Rufo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alex Lidström charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Lidström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alex Lidström hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Köping's zone, Saverio Atarratze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orvar Larsson came out of the goal and Saverio Atarratze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th match minute, Atlético Unión Florida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Matro to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Köping's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Rufo came free, but Orvar Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orvar Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Rufo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Krystian Żmuda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Matro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Orvar Larsson made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Atlético Unión Florida eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
