When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Sanchez Carro took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jacinto Cuadrado to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Samaniego Corel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacinto Cuadrado was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 43rd minute Rafael Casados shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Cuadrado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Cuadrado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samaniego Corel in the 44th minute. In the 46thth minute of the game Rolando Amorebieta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but No Me Inscriban Gracias's De-Jesús Cardon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samaniego Corel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 71st minute, Diego Napier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Cuadrado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Casados in the 72nd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Boca Juniors players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
