The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zoltán Varga in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Peruxu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Horaţiu Petran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Toro in the 9th minute of the match. Walmir Breckenfeld's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Santiago Peruxu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Santiago Peruxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwin Bienvenu, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Gyál United's Segundo Orengo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Santiago Peruxu. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Santiago Peruxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwin Bienvenu in the 16th minute of play. Erwin Bienvenu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Santiago Peruxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 21 minutes, Walmir Breckenfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gyál United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walmir Breckenfeld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Bienvenu in the 25th minute of play forced CA INCAS's goalkeeper Santiago Peruxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ubaldo Eguntsenti kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Walmir Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Peruxu having to interfere. Walmir Breckenfeld might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Peruxu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Walmir Breckenfeld ran back to his position shaking his head. Walmir Breckenfeld could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Santiago Peruxu made a huge save. If Január Csillag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Walmir Breckenfeld could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Santiago Peruxu however easily saved by the left post. Walmir Breckenfeld could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Santiago Peruxu made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Gyál United's Santiago Peruxu threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Erwin Bienvenu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Santiago Peruxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwin Bienvenu, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

52 minutes into the match, Január Csillag had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santiago Peruxu. CA INCAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Január Csillag was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zoltán Varga in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Peruxu saved CA INCAS from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, CA INCAS's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Breckenfeld came free, but Santiago Peruxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Erwin Bienvenu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 83rd minute, Walmir Breckenfeld ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Peruxu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 87th minute, Walmir Breckenfeld got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santiago Peruxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmir Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 91st match minute, Gyál United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Január Csillag to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Gyál United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
