The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Niclas Vennerdal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Bøje Dyssen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Bengtsson. Axel Ree might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niclas Vennerdal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Ree ran back to his position shaking his head. Niclas Vennerdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Ree in the 29th minute of play. Niclas Vennerdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Ree in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Ree in the 32nd minute of play forced Kolsva FK's goalkeeper Niclas Vennerdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes, Nestor Solera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monks in Robes and the Kolsva FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Axel Ree's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niclas Vennerdal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Kolsva FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Axel Ree blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niclas Vennerdal having to make a save. In the 70th minute Axel Ree shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niclas Vennerdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
