Everardo Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kingpins's Bixente Poli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Kingpins from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd match minute, Kingpins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Kling to maneuver through the defense. Kingpins's Bixente Poli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Marin in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Kingpins booed when Real Club Celta de Vigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubén Blanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Pepe Toxeiro made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Yan Guo Qiang sent off a good shot on target. Kingpins's attentive Achraf Hakimi managed to snatch the ball when Calisto Camacho made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Victorino Euloxu took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Pepe Toxeiro to make any attempt to save it. Everardo Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 75th minute Everardo Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bixente Poli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Achraf Hakimi fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kingpins's protests and gave Achraf Hakimi a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Kingpins got a freekick which was hit by Achraf Hakimi. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Renato Tapia was substituted for Nestor Araujo. 87 minutes into the match, Kingpins's Yan Guo Qiang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pepe Toxeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bixente Poli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renato Tapia went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.
