Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cristiano Matorin took the kick off in the first half of the match. SESI UNITED's Sotil Maroto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save SESI UNITED from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelian Odobescu got free with Sotil Maroto in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sotil Maroto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelian Odobescu in the 14th minute. Sotil Maroto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Iacobescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelian Odobescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Matorin came free, but Niculae Rădvan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes FC PIETROSUL -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Felix Codin. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Niculae Rădvan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that 邱永志 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Niculae Rădvan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Niculae Rădvan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sotil Maroto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Iacobescu in the 26th minute of the match. 1-0 became the score in the 26th minute when Viorel Iacobescu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viorel Iacobescu got free with Sotil Maroto in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Iacobescu in the 37th minute of play forced SESI UNITED's goalkeeper Sotil Maroto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SESI UNITED's zone, Aurelian Odobescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sotil Maroto came out of the goal and Aurelian Odobescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Viorel Iacobescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Costin Pupăzan was substituted for Filip Braia. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viorel Iacobescu made a kick off. After a rather tough play, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Aurelian Odobescu got a free kick in the 56th minute. Niculae Rădvan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 邱永志, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aurelian Odobescu in the 66th minute. 邱永志 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Niculae Rădvan made a huge save. 72 minutes into the match, SESI UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Cristi Ciprian came free, but Sotil Maroto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute FC PIETROSUL -MM- were awarded a corner. Aurelian Odobescu went to the cornerflag to take it. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Aurelian Odobescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sotil Maroto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aurelian Odobescu scored 3-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sotil Maroto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Cristi Ciprian came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the FC PIETROSUL -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristi Ciprian couldn't finish the play. Niculae Rădvan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tincho Palermo in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by SESI UNITED's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aurelian Odobescu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. Aurelian Odobescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sotil Maroto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurelian Odobescu ran back to his position shaking his head. FC PIETROSUL -MM- were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after SESI UNITED's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aurelian Odobescu took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s corner Ciprian Halipa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sotil Maroto quite easily take care of the ball. SESI UNITED's Sotil Maroto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelian Odobescu in the 90th minute of play. Sotil Maroto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristi Ciprian in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tincho Palermo in the 92nd minute of play forced FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Niculae Rădvan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sotil Maroto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristi Ciprian, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. FC PIETROSUL -MM- were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SESI UNITED for a fine match.
