Kirk Sperling had several of the Les diables noirs's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Hermínio Penha as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kirk Sperling got free with Hermínio Penha in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th match minute, Les diables noirs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vehdi Dokuzer to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Nicko Kličko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermínio Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleksander Pliszka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Gabrielli in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kirk Sperling made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Steve Gabrielli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aleksander Pliszka was relentless in the 50th minute of the game. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hermínio Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicko Kličko in the 70th minute of play. Duda Terra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Aleksander Pliszka made a huge save. Aleksander Pliszka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Gabrielli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th match minute, Les diables noirs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ashe Swain to maneuver through the defense. Hermínio Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicko Kličko in the 76th minute of the match. Duda Terra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Aleksander Pliszka made a huge save. Hermínio Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kirk Sperling in the 83rd minute of play. Mulgimaa Kosilased's Aleksander Pliszka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Mulgimaa Kosilased from getting a goal against them.
