Bruno Macario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emílio Ceresso in the 80th minute. Emerson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Cheche in the 86th minute of play. Berutti FC's Sebastian Lobo suffered a torn muscle in his foot after 87 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Petrescu during the 87th minute.
