Armando Maradona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julian Mannuel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. DESTROY were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Simoneta FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Evaristo Macerio took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Evaristo Macerio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julian Mannuel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. DESTROY's Laurids Baylund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Dalström in the 24th minute of play. Julian Mannuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Maradona, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Augusto Tiniebra came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Simoneta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Tiniebra couldn't finish the play. Laurids Baylund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Dalström in the 29th minute of the match. Armando Maradona took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julian Mannuel. Julian Mannuel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Simoneta FC's Rodolfo Iztal was substituted for Jonatan Pancho. Evaristo Macerio kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Augusto Tiniebra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Laurids Baylund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DESTROY's Per-Erik Vesterberg was substituted for Armando Maradona. Per-Erik Vesterberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. DESTROY's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Per-Erik Vesterberg came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the DESTROY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Erik Vesterberg couldn't finish the play. Laurids Baylund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Tiniebra in the 73rd minute of play. Julian Mannuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Erik Vesterberg in the 75th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Per-Erik Vesterberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julian Mannuel was relentless in the 77th minute of the game.
