With an all-out effort, HORIZZONT's Ace Mace threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yaşar Akbuğ, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 9th minute Yaşar Akbuğ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ace Mace saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rahim Sidam came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ace Mace could save by the left post. 17 minutes into the match, HORIZZONT's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Erik Stephansson came free, but Duda Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duda Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Miranda in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Classon in the 21st minute of play forced HORIZZONT's goalkeeper Duda Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Altino Lameirinhas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duda Viana having to make a save. Erkut Yatuk hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. HORIZZONT's Duda Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Classon in the 38th minute of play. Duda Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Altino Lameirinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of Undertakers FC booed when HORIZZONT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 88th minute, Mirza Yazargil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the HORIZZONT defense, Altino Lameirinhas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duda Viana. The HORIZZONT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duda Viana should have stopped the shot. The HORIZZONT supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Undertakers FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Undertakers FC.
