In the 5th minute, Gianluca Vialli made a precise shot to the right of Joe Camp. Cats and dogs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Cats and dogs's zone, Gianluca Vialli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joe Camp came out of the goal and Gianluca Vialli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the game, Redouane Goude threw the ball into play from the sideline. Falckner FC's Edelmiro Firme quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 11th minute, Gianluca Vialli made a precise shot to the right of Joe Camp. Cats and dogs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Franklin Boch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gianluca Vialli in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joe Camp saved Cats and dogs from getting behind. In the 25th minute of the match Falckner FC got a corner. Cats and dogs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gianluca Vialli ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Falckner FC's corner Gianluca Vialli fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joe Camp quite easily take care of the ball. In the 28th minute, Gianluca Vialli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joe Camp was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Loco De la Maza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Hamard in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Gianluca Vialli came free, but Joe Camp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Gianluca Vialli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cats and dogs's Bérenger Ethève got a free kick in the 46th minute. Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Falckner FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaétan Bouchard in the 52nd minute of play forced Falckner FC's goalkeeper Loco De la Maza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joe Camp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gianluca Vialli's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Edelmiro Firme got a free kick in the 58th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Gaétan Bouchard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Loco De la Maza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gianluca Vialli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Joe Camp made a huge save. Gianluca Vialli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Joe Camp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cats and dogs made a substitution. Terry Sauvestre replaced Gaétan Bouchard. With a little luck, Cats and dogs's Joe Camp got control of the ball when Gianluca Vialli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Falckner FC's Loco De la Maza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Hamard in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cats and dogs's goalkeeper Joe Camp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute Falckner FC were awarded a corner. Gianluca Vialli went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli to fire away a dangerous shot which Joe Camp despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 83rdth minute of the game Gianluca Vialli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cats and dogs's Joe Camp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Redouane Goude in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Falckner FC's Edelmiro Firme. Loco De la Maza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Boch in the 85th minute of the match. Joe Camp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gianluca Vialli's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Hamard came free, but Loco De la Maza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Falckner FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
