An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Erosa in the 42nd minute of play forced Funebrero FC's goalkeeper Atilano Intxixu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, João Francisco Moura notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Funebrero FC's Atilano Intxixu. Atilano Intxixu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Alex Team were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basilio Valiente was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Alex Team booed when Funebrero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Fero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustaquio Bartuelo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Atilano Intxixu 54 minutes into the match. 0-7 became the score in the 57th minute when Eustaquio Bartuelo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Atilano Intxixu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cornel Bodiu went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Cornel Bodiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eustaquio Bartuelo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Atilano Intxixu came out and tried to block the shot, but Eustaquio Bartuelo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 71st minute. Atilano Intxixu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Bartuelo in the 74th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Francisco Moura got free with Atilano Intxixu in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Erosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Intxixu having to interfere. Atilano Intxixu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornel Bodiu in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Alex Team's João Francisco Moura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atilano Intxixu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. In the 90th minute João Francisco Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Intxixu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Ricardo Erosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Atilano Intxixu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Funebrero FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Alex Team were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
