Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Barry McCray got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominic Salazar in the 8th minute of play forced The Hanging Tree's goalkeeper Jacinto Panpili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 minutes, Jarmo Laik made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. The Hanging Tree's Jacinto Panpili tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacinto Panpili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominic Salazar in the 12th minute of play. Jarmo Laik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Panpili came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Modlau's Barry McCray. But to his dismay, Barry McCray quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Modlau's Jarmo Laik got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Barry McCray had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Panpili. The Hanging Tree's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barry McCray was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The Modlau fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Modlau's Barry McCray looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Barry McCray's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacinto Panpili was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. If Barry McCray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Modlau fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Modlau's Barry McCray looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jacinto Panpili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barry McCray, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Albino Berenguer hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When Wincenty Mochowak came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Modlau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wincenty Mochowak couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, The Hanging Tree's Lu Shu Yi got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half Modlau were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Lu Shu Yi made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Jarmo Laik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Modlau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarmo Laik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Panpili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry McCray in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Barry McCray left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Modlau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. When Dominic Salazar came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Modlau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominic Salazar couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute Justino Feliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Winszman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, The Hanging Tree's goal looked a bit too open when Wincenty Mochowak came free, but Jacinto Panpili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Wincenty Mochowak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Modlau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Hanging Tree the free kick. In the 65th minute, Justino Feliz made a precise shot to the right of Sebastian Winszman. Modlau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Modlau's Damazy Jucha was substituted for Jarmo Laik. Wincenty Mochowak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacinto Panpili came out and tried to block the shot, but Wincenty Mochowak slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Modlau booed when The Hanging Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Ignado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Damazy Jucha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Modlau's supporters rose to their feet, but Damazy Jucha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Panpili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wincenty Mochowak got free with Jacinto Panpili in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lu Shu Yi's late challenge caught a Modlau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lu Shu Yi helped the player get up and apologised. Lu Shu Yi hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Modlau's Barry McCray pulled a muscle in his leg after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Dobromir Chmelyk fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Hanging Tree's protests and gave Dobromir Chmelyk a yellow card for diving instead. Dobromir Chmelyk kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Modlau's Wincenty Mochowak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacinto Panpili narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over Modlau could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than The Hanging Tree throughout the match.
