In the 4th minute, Moises Vermudo made a precise shot to the right of Slavcho Kanov. Legia Stavanger's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Hercule Couret stood somewhat misplaced when Javier Turi came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 8 minute. Hercule Couret showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gjermund Viste in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Magicos's Panayot Kanevchev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Slavcho Kanov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The supporters of Legia Stavanger booed when Magicos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Jon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Magicos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gjermund Viste was slow to take the kick. During this time Legia Stavanger's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gjermund Viste almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Magicos's Hercule Couret did a great save. Gjermund Viste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Hercule Couret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Magicos got a freekick which was hit by Oséas Neiva. Slavcho Kanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panayot Kanevchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfred Klawki got free with Hercule Couret in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Slavcho Kanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Vermudo in the 32nd minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Legia Stavanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Ciorogaru to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Vermudo came free, but Slavcho Kanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slavcho Kanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséas Neiva in the 44th minute of play. After 45 played minutes Magicos got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Rumaldo. Gjermund Viste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hercule Couret read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Javier Turi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, one of Magicos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 61st minute Gjermund Viste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hercule Couret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Javier Turi in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hercule Couret saved Magicos from getting behind. After 69 played minutes Legia Stavanger got a freekick which was hit by Nicolae Ciorogaru. Magicos's Remigiusz Felenak couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Legia Stavanger. Legia Stavanger's Abelardo Alonso was substituted for Deivid Capixaba. Slavcho Kanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséas Neiva in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Vermudo in the 76th minute of play forced Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Magicos's zone, Javier Turi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hercule Couret came out of the goal and Javier Turi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Legia Stavanger from getting a goal against them. In the 85thth minute of the game Javier Turi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Magicos's Hercule Couret was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute, Alfred Klawki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Magicos's Oséas Neiva got a free kick in the 87th minute. Javier Turi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hercule Couret having to interfere. A collision led to Legia Stavanger getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Nicolae Ciorogaru hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
