The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencer Hisarcık in the 3rd minute of play forced Magicos's goalkeeper Hercule Couret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Gencer Hisarcık's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hercule Couret was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Hercule Couret stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gencer Hisarcık's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 36thth minute of the game Gencer Hisarcık who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Magicos's Hercule Couret was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gencer Hisarcık had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gencer Hisarcık in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hercule Couret prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 43 played minutes KFC Uerdingen 05 got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Tano. KFC Uerdingen 05's Tymoteusz Mios proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Uerdingen 05 from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gencer Hisarcık made a kick off. Tymoteusz Mios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panayot Kanevchev in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Magicos's Moises Vermudo got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 58 minutes Magicos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arseniy Bokatyuk who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Zhao Fei Ling got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 58 minutes into the match. Gencer Hisarcık could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Hercule Couret made a huge save. After 65 played minutes KFC Uerdingen 05 got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Lugebiel. A collision led to Magicos getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Freddy Beliran hit a great ball. Magicos's Hercule Couret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Bannenbusch in the 68th minute of play. Gencer Hisarcık might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hercule Couret. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gencer Hisarcık ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Magicos booed when KFC Uerdingen 05 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Lugebiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Bannenbusch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hercule Couret having to interfere. KFC Uerdingen 05 made a substitution. Julian Froylan replaced Gencer Hisarcık. 78 minutes into the match, Magicos's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Banegas came free, but Hercule Couret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artemio Banegas scored 0-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hercule Couret, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When KFC Uerdingen 05's Julian Froylan in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Magicos's goalie prevented a goal. Hercule Couret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Froylan, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Julian Froylan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Hercule Couret skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hercule Couret made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Julian Froylan sent off a good shot on target. Freddy Beliran kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KFC Uerdingen 05 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
