The corner went over the outstretched arms of De Keikoppers's goalie and right to Jacques Dupont. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. De Keikoppers's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. De Keikoppers's Lionel Van Den Broek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Álvarez in the 17th minute of play. De Keikoppers's Lionel Van Den Broek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save De Keikoppers from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute Agustín Álvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Van Den Broek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Moneyball's Cheng Wei Yan to fire away a dangerous shot which Lionel Van Den Broek despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dalmo Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Huveneers, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Agustín Álvarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lionel Van Den Broek. De Keikoppers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Álvarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolf Huveneers to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Mümtaz Yetiş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmo Tasso made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Geert Smidts sent off a good shot on target. Lionel Van Den Broek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Álvarez in the 55th minute of play. If Geert Smidts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moneyball made a substitution. Stanislav Mikolášek replaced Mümtaz Yetiş. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustín Álvarez in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lionel Van Den Broek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dalmo Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Van Der Meren in the 78th minute of the match. De Keikoppers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
