When Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Dmitry Levashik in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 22nd minute, Dmitry Levashik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vriendenkring Wippelgem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Alfred Robin came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by De Keikoppers's Rolf Huveneers. But to his dismay, Rolf Huveneers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 31 minutes into the game, Rolf Huveneers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Alfred Robin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Dmitry Levashik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfred Robin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Huveneers, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolf Huveneers in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Robin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfred Robin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Huveneers in the 44th minute of play. Glenn De Smedt scored 1-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfred Robin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rolf Huveneers was the one to do the kick off. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Alfred Robin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Huveneers in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Alfred Robin got control of the ball when Rolf Huveneers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolf Huveneers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Alfred Robin made a huge save. Rolf Huveneerss short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Alfred Robin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 58th minute, Alan Wiechgers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sem De Kelper came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alfred Robin could save by the left post. Joachim Van Der Meren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfred Robin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Glenn De Smedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dmitry Levashik came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Vriendenkring Wippelgem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dmitry Levashik couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Octaaf Van Elsen got a free kick in the 77th minute. Alfred Robin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joachim Van Der Meren in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dmitry Levashik in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lionel Van Den Broek saved De Keikoppers from getting behind. The supporters of Vriendenkring Wippelgem booed when De Keikoppers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Eijkens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dmitry Levashik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lionel Van Den Broek having to make a save. In the 87th minute Dmitry Levashik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Van Den Broek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joachim Van Der Meren took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfred Robin. Alfred Robin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. De Keikoppers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
