With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustín Álvarez in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dino Zoff saved 11ABRASIL from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustín Álvarez in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dino Zoff prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Agustín Álvarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dino Zoff having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Álvarez in the 21st minute of play forced 11ABRASIL's goalkeeper Dino Zoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmo Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Pelé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmo Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimír Šmicer, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With a little luck, 11ABRASIL's Dino Zoff got control of the ball when Cheng Wei Yan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moneyball's Dalmo Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Hellgren in the 33rd minute of play. In the 42nd minute Agustín Álvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, 11ABRASIL's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Álvarez came free, but Dino Zoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Moneyball were awarded a corner. Cheng Wei Yan went to the cornerflag to take it. Alvise Macchia tried in the 45th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Dino Zoff a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Pluciennik made a kick off. Agustín Álvarez struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Dino Zoff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moneyball. Agustín Álvarez might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dino Zoff. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agustín Álvarez ran back to his position shaking his head. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Álvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustín Álvarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dino Zoff read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Moneyball's Oliver Bergman was substituted for Roland Rakowicz. Moneyball were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after 11ABRASIL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cheng Wei Yan took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Alexandre Azevedo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The audience was convinced that Agustín Álvarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dino Zoff was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Dalmo Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Pelé in the 72nd minute of the match. If Agustín Álvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A nice corner shot did that Cheng Wei Yan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dino Zoff quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dalmo Tasso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Hellgren in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute of the match 11ABRASIL got a corner. Moneyball's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thomas Katsivalis ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on 11ABRASIL's corner Thomas Katsivalis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dalmo Tasso quite easily take care of the ball. Dalmo Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Hellgren in the 85th minute of the match. Agustín Álvarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dino Zoff having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Agustín Álvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moneyball's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustín Álvarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dino Zoff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute of the match, Per Hellgren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dalmo Tasso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Moneyball fans cheered their team off the field, for while 11ABRASIL had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
