Spectators: 7547 (Terracing: 5662, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mikael Wenerdahl started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Vänge IF's zone, Jorma Jääskeläinen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorien Vilela came out of the goal and Jorma Jääskeläinen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorien Vilela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Ekman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertil Ekman in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorien Vilela saved Vänge IF from getting behind. The White Hart Lane fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when White Hart Lane's Bertil Ekman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sefa Danış in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esbjörn Apelquist saved White Hart Lane from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Sefa Danış's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esbjörn Apelquist was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After having played for 24 minutes, Sefa Danış managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vänge IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sefa Danış was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jorma Jääskeläinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorien Vilela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorma Jääskeläinen in the 38th minute of play. Bertil Ekman spun around in front of the goal 39 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Vänge IF's goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind White Hart Lane's goalkeeper Esbjörn Apelquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, White Hart Lane's Christer Stor got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in White Hart Lane's zone, Sefa Danış stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esbjörn Apelquist came out of the goal and Sefa Danış tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vänge IF's Lorien Vilela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Ekman in the 47th minute of play. After 50 played minutes Vänge IF got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Lima. Bertil Ekman scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lorien Vilela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bertil Ekman was the one to do the kick off. Dick Wennerberg's late challenge caught a Vänge IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dick Wennerberg helped the player get up and apologised. Dick Wennerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Esbjörn Apelquist was a little too slow when Mikael Wenerdahl got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 65th minute Sefa Danış shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Apelquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tarık Özel kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Esbjörn Apelquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sefa Danış in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Ekman came free, but Lorien Vilela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dragomir Krachanov kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vänge IF's zone, Dick Wennerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorien Vilela came out of the goal and Dick Wennerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82 minutes of play Vänge IF's Claudinho Lima was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Bertil Ekman struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Lorien Vilela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for White Hart Lane. Sefa Danış struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Esbjörn Apelquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vänge IF. After 91 minutes of play, Vänge IF's Sefa Danış made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esbjörn Apelquist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Esbjörn Apelquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sefa Danış, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Vänge IF's Sefa Danış got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Vänge IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vänge IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
