Rony Rüşti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Aivars Tautvaiss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Öhlmann in the 13th minute of play forced Leões do Sul 53's goalkeeper Frankie Gunn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Tomas Öhlmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frankie Gunn was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Tomas Öhlmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blackblue United's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Öhlmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frankie Gunn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the game, Tomas Öhlmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Frankie Gunn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Leões do Sul 53 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Blackblue United were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sixto Seijas was the one to do the kick off. If Tomas Öhlmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Frankie Gunn managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Blackblue United's Tomas Öhlmann fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 90th match minute, Leões do Sul 53 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton Britto to maneuver through the defense. Frankie Gunn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Öhlmann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 91 minute of play. When Blackblue United's Sixto Seijas in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
