The referee ignored Blackblue United's protests and gave Daniz Tan a yellow card for diving instead. 27 minutes into the game, one of Blackblue United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esbjörn Apelquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute of the match, Jorma Jääskeläinen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aivars Tautvaiss saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
