When Erdal Tamkoç came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the 1930 Bafraspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erdal Tamkoç couldn't finish the play. Lars Månsson hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 1930 Bafraspor's Rahman Kabadayı took a good shot, in the 4th minute, which hit the crossbar above Makedon Boševski's head, and flew over the goal. NGOP Football Club's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by 1930 Bafraspor. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erdal Tamkoç in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Makedon Boševski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Qin Sen Chen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slavoljub Kjani in the 7th minute of the match. In the last second Qin Sen Chen throw himself and got hold of the ball when Olívio Cerezo in the 7thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Makedon Boševski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Popescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute of the match 1930 Bafraspor got a corner. NGOP Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rahman Kabadayı ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Rahman Kabadayı almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but NGOP Football Club's Makedon Boševski did a great save. 14 minutes into the game, Erdal Tamkoç cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Makedon Boševski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Osman Gulson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Osman Gulson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. NGOP Football Club's Makedon Boševski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erdal Tamkoç in the 22nd minute of play. Qin Sen Chen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Slavoljub Kjani showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 27 minute of play. Makedon Boševski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erdal Tamkoç, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1930 Bafraspor's goalkeeper Qin Sen Chen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in NGOP Football Club's zone, Rahman Kabadayı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Makedon Boševski came out of the goal and Rahman Kabadayı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Qin Sen Chen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slavoljub Kjani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Erdal Tamkoç left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1930 Bafraspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erdal Tamkoç to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Slavoljub Kjani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qin Sen Chen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Saip Sezgen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1930 Bafraspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NGOP Football Club the free kick. In the 57th match minute, 1930 Bafraspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saip Sezgen to maneuver through the defense. Qin Sen Chen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emilijano Vidoevski's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, NGOP Football Club's goalkeeper Makedon Boševski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erdal Tamkoç. Qin Sen Chen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olívio Cerezo in the 72nd minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Erdal Tamkoç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1930 Bafraspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erdal Tamkoç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, NGOP Football Club's goalkeeper Makedon Boševski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erdal Tamkoç. Erdal Tamkoç's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Makedon Boševski firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in NGOP Football Club's zone, Erdal Tamkoç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Makedon Boševski came out of the goal and Erdal Tamkoç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erdal Tamkoç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erdal Tamkoç could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Makedon Boševski made a huge save. Erdal Tamkoç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The 1930 Bafraspor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 1930 Bafraspor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
