Virgilio Sotil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arcan Çapan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Arcan Çapan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 played minutes FCF north got a freekick which was hit by Donald Hoiting. Villa Mitre's Virgilio Sotil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arcan Çapan in the 14th minute of play. Virgilio Sotil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arcan Çapan in the 14th minute of play. Virgilio Sotil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arcan Çapan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes Villa Mitre's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arne Wijk who took care of the corner kick. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

56 minutes into the match, FCF north's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Mateo came free, but Chris Tinselboer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ed Bijlsmas short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Virgilio Sotil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Steelman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgilio Sotil was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 66 minutes into the game, Ed Bijlsma recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Virgilio Sotil. Ed Bijlsma showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 72nd minute of the match, Jonathan Steelman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Virgilio Sotil saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Villa Mitre's Virgilio Sotil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ed Bijlsma in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Villa Mitre's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arne Wijk was slow to take the kick. During this time FCF north's players had a chance to rest. With his leg Virgilio Sotil managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when FCF north's Arcan Çapan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The corner ended in Jonathan Steelman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Villa Mitre's Virgilio Sotil did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ed Bijlsma got free with Virgilio Sotil in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute Ed Bijlsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Sotil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Jerano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Chris Tinselboer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FCF north's Donald Hoiting got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Villa Mitre supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FCF north's performance. The match ended with a win for FCF north.
