After 14 minutes Copetonas AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Primitivo Heli who took care of the corner kick. Khabib Nurmagomedov was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Primitivo Heli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Copetonas AFC's goalkeeper Marcelo Cordairo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 21 minutes Copetonas AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Primitivo Heli who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Folkert Reitsma to score against Marcelo Cordairo in Copetonas AFC's goal. 0-1 after 21 minutes. Baldomero Tajo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Jim Martin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kostas Paxinos, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Marcelo Cordairo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Heli in the 33rd minute of play. Dan Vennersten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rdth minute of the game Primitivo Heli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Copetonas AFC's Marcelo Cordairo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th match minute, Eket BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folkert Reitsma to maneuver through the defense. The Copetonas AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Eket BK were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Breno da Mata made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Dan Vennersten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eket BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Vennersten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Cordairo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dan Vennersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Cordairo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Pelle Blomquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eket BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Pelle Blomquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Cordairo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Primitivo Heli was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Pompiliu Ciutacu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
